sisal style
Choosing a rug is never an easy task. If you're like me, and you're looking for something that looks clean all the time, is easy to clean, and repels dirt and odor, well the answer is a sisal rug. Sisal is a stiff, coarse natural fiber obtained from agave plant leaves, and when woven together make an amazing rug for any room, indoors or outdoors. I love sisal!

When I am at the mall, one store I always stop into is Papyrus. I am a stationery/ribbon/frame/pen FREAK and this store has it all: stylish wrapping paper, candy-colored ribbon, and some of the most amazing greeting cards ever.

the perfect napkin
I am a lover of napkins, and I have been on the hunt for some really fabulous cotton napkins. I wanted something casual, but made well enough to be fancy too. Where did I finally find them? West Elm of course! These 100% cotton napkins are only $12 for a set of four. They come in a lovely array of jewel-tone inspired shades; I chose the classic tan.

Truly one of my favorite and most inspiring places to be is New York City.
